Vocational Skills

The vocational skills program has a dual purpose of providing employment and training in a sheltered work setting. We provide a positive work environment for individuals to work, learn job skills and prepare for the transition to community integrated employment

The training and job experiences lead to improved level of confidence, taking pride in work performed and eventual independence in vocational competencies.

Supervision is provided in group settings to teach specific job skills and the value of quality of work performed. We provide a client-centered service plan to maximize a person’s productivity and preparation for successful employment.

Training components will include such things as attendance, work habits and attitudes, interactions with co-workers and supervisors, and work safety. Through the individuals job experiences they will learn the importance of quality control, task completion, and teamwork.

We will always strive to increase an individuals self confidence and capabilities towards achieving satisfying work experiences and employment.
