From our high-quality, CARF-accredited program, we can provide community activities and adult curriculum to assist each person on their unique pathway to self-sufficiency. This is not a one-size-fits-all program. We take the time to learn about each person and their needs and personal preferences. We then provide individualized programming based on that person’s unique skill set, capabilities and desires. We provide person-centered services for multiple-needs consumers in Cass, Wabash, Grant and Blackford counties.

These programs provide time with friends and the opportunity to explore ongoing work on a variety of life areas.  Community activities include visits to Curves, Indiana State Fair, Shrine Circus, Ft. Wayne Zoo, Indianapolis Zoo, local sporting events, Community School of Arts (CSA) and many more.  Services provided in our facilities include classroom-style curriculum that can allow people to on skills such as reading, writing, arts, music, daily living skills, sensory activities, socialization and more.

For those who have would like to work, Carey Services has many areas in which we can help. We have assembly positions in our workshop if earning income is desired. We also can help develop skills that can lead to community employment by helping people work on areas such as hygiene at work, teamwork, time management, proper work etiquette and how to meet an employer’s expectations.
