As part of its 60th anniversary activities, Carey Services will conduct a public open house on Nov. 21 from 9-11 a.m. and 3-5 p.m.

“This has been a good year as we celebrate 60 years of helping people with disabilities,” said Jim Allbaugh, president and chief executive officer. “From our beginnings with a group of dedicated parents who wanted to see services provided for their – and other – children, we have come a long way in those 60 years.”

Carey Services will provide tours of the agency’s Marion campus at 2724 S. Carey St., and staff will be on hand to answer questions about the agency’s services. Light refreshments will be served.

“We are proud of the essential services we provide not only to Grant and Blackford counties, but also to the families and clients we serve in the other counties where we have operations.” Allbaugh said.
