Riders Guide

All individuals with approved transportation are approved to utilize Carey Services transportation options. Hours of operation are 24/7, however office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Mobility device accessibility is available to all riders. The mobility devices are defined as manually-operated or power-driven devices primarily for use by an individual with a mobility disability. Passengers with mobility devices may use the lift. All other ambulatory riders may use the lift upon request. Our route times do vary and are staggered times. Our earliest route pick starts at 6:15am. We then have 6:30am, 7:00am, 7:30, 8:00am, and 9:00am. We also transportation departing times starting at 3:00pm, 3:30pm, and 4:00pm departures from our agency.  We do routes mostly in Grant County and extend to Blackford County.

Transportation Policies

Carey Services is commitment to providing safe, accessible, and compliant transportation services for individuals receiving agency programs. This policy ensures adherence to Indiana laws, federal ADA regulations, and CARF standards, prioritizing vehicle safety, driver training, and maintenance. It addresses the accommodation of mobility aids, service animals, and special needs, emphasizing equitable service for all passengers. Reasonable Modification Policy

Carey Services ensures compliance with all reasonable modification requests and retains related records for a minimum of three years. Requests for modification may be made either orally or in writing. Requests may be made by clicking the button link below and completing the form. The completed request form may be dropped-off or mailed to Carey Services Transportation Services, 2724 S. Carey St., Marion, IN 46953, or emailed to sbrashear@careyservices.com. Title VI Information

Carey Services operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, or national origin in accordance with the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Any person who believes he or she has been affected by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with Carey Services.

Complaint/Appeal Process

Contact Carey Services Corporate Compliance Officer at 765-668-8961, or visit our office at 2724 South Carey Street, Marion, IN 46953. Riders may call 888-668-8961 and ask to speak to the Transportation Manager or Compliance Officer if customer service expectations are not being met.
