Overview:
Carey Services was established in 1954 through the efforts of parents of persons with disabilities and concerned citizens of our communities. Their purpose in 1954 still serves as the underlying philosophy of what drives Carey Services today...creating pathways towards self-sufficiency with personal satisfaction.
Carey Services is a community-based organization which receives strong support from a broad cross-section of consumers, families, businesses and charitable interests. Supports and services are determined through person-centered planning, whereby consumers and their families direct the planning and allocation of resources to meet their own individual life goals.

Employment Services:
Carey Services assists people of varying degrees of ability find meaningful work in our community. Whether we are working for an individual with significant intellectual deficiencies or a college graduate with osteoarthritis, our goal is to provide the highest level of professional service to join seekers and the businesses that hire them.
Residential Services:
Carey Services Supported Living Program enables people we serve to live in their own apartment or home with the assistance and support of agency staff. Support varies depending on need, up to 24 hours a day. The program is adapted to meet each person's individual needs, including housing and services for those with limited mobility.
Early Head Start:
Early Head Start is a federally funded program for families with children under three years old and pregnant women who meet Head Start income guidelines Enrollment is available for children with disabilities. Early Head Start works with First Steps to ensure that children with disabilities receive quality and comprehensive services. All Early Head Start services are free of charge to qualifying families.

Business Services:
Carey Services has the labor force to help meet your assembly needs. With 100 workers capable of doing such jobs as hot gluing, quality control inspection, sorting, counting, collation, mailings, and other labor intensive jobs, Carey Services is able to provide your company with a highly trained workforce.
Make Docu-Shield your choice for secure document destruction. For more information about document destruction for your home or business call Docu-Shield at (765) 668-4992.
Daily Protection Service:
Docu-Shield will provide locked containers for secure storage of confidential documents. The service can be set up as an on-call service where the customer calls Docu-Shield when the container is full, or the customer may be put on an area route. The documents will be destroyed within 72 business hours of pick-up and a Certificate of Destruction will be mailed upon destruction with the invoice following shortly thereafter.
Purge Service:
Docu-Shield will pick up boxes at your designated location. The boxes without lids will be secured with moving tape to protect the documents. The boxes will be loaded in a secure box truck and transported to our gated and locked document destruction area. Upon destruction, a Certificate of Destruction will be mailed and the invoice mailed shortly thereafter.
Drop-Off Service:
Docu-Shield will accept your confidential documents at our sheltered workshop located at 2724 S Carey Street in Marion, IN 46953.
