    Rep. Brooks Supports Carey Heroes
    Rep.     Council Member Adds to Community Support
    Thank you to Marion City Council Member Brad Luzadder for adding his voice to the chorus of community support for our direct support professionals supporting the individuals we serve in the the community.
     
    We have more than 150 healthcare heroes serving nearly 90 individuals in the individuals’ homes keeping them safe and healthy during the COVID-19 crisis. We thank them for their heroic work and the community for the support you are offering everyone working to keep people safe.

    Marion City Council Member Sends Encouragement

    Council Member Praises Staff

    Thank you to Marion City Council member Gary Fordyce Sr. for this video publicly thanking Carey Services’ direct support professionals and Early Head Start staff who are making an incredible impact on the individuals and families they serve during these unique circumstances we’re in.

    Thank you also to the entire City Council, Mayor Jess Alumbaugh’s administration and the Grant County government officials who are leading the community through the crisis.

    Agency Programming Status Update

    Carey Services’ board of directors met on April 15 and extended the agency’s facility-based program suspension until May 15, pending guidance from federal, state and local health officials about safely re-opening operations.

    As we deal with the COVID-19 crisis, Carey Services is committed to ensuring the safety of the individuals we serve, and the dedicated direct support professionals who are supporting them. We also dedicated to supporting the community and the many people in the community who support our work.
