Allbaugh Receives Leadership Award
Earlier this month, Jim Allbaugh, President/CEO of Carey Services, Inc., was awarded the 2022 James M. Hammond, III Executive Leadership Award from the Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, Inc. (INARF). Allbaugh was one of the seven nominees for the statewide award presented at the INARF Annual Awards Luncheon. The James M. Hammond, III Executive Leadership Award recognizes an individual who presents outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, political acumen, ethical demeanor and professional posture to further the interests of their organization and those of their colleagues across the state.
John Jones, Chair of the Carey Services Board of Directors and Vice President of Operations at Indiana Wesleyan University, shared in his nomination, “Jim Allbaugh is consistently driven for the best outcomes for employees, individuals served, and his community. New initiatives like the Life Success Coach Program, an addition of a woodworking shop, a new durable medical equipment program, and new technology programming are only a few examples of Jim’s creative approach to making a difference in peoples’ lives.”
Allbaugh has served as President/CEO of Carey Services for nine years. When asked what motivates him in the work being done at Carey Services, Allbaugh shared, “As I walk down the hallways, I know that I am able to see the people that we impact every single day. I am able to see the people that care for those people impacting people every single day.”
