Carey Services’ Early Head Start program has documented results, and we’ve received the state and national recognition to go with it.
The program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and also has achieved a Level 4 rating — the highest possible — from the state’s Paths to Quality program.
Early Head Start is a federally funded program for families with children under three years old and pregnant women who meet Head Start income guidelines.
Enrollment is available for children with disabilities. Early Head Start works with First Steps to ensure that children with disabilities receive quality and comprehensive services.
All Early Head Start services are FREE to qualifying families.

Family Services
The Family Services Coordinator will help you locate resources available in the community to support and assist you in enhancing your quality of life.
Mental Health
The licensed mental health consultant is available to meet with you to address any behavioral or mental health concerns or questions.
Physical Health
The EHS nurse will assist you in keeping your child current on all well-child visits, immunizations and screenings, along with addressing any health concerns or questions you might have.
Nutrition
Services
The nutrition consultant is a registered dietician and can provide suggestions on improving your family’s nutrition. The consultant also provides guidance to our classroom nutrition services.
Developmental &
Disabilities Services
The child development/disabilities coordinator will assist you monitor your child’s development and/or address special needs services.
